Set the bait this morning for Mac - following her Activities Timetable yesterday, I made one for myself. When I came out this morning, she had already written up her own and stuck it up on the wall right beside mine!! With hands on hips and head cocked to one side, eyes narrowed, her first words of the day to me were "What is this supposed to be?....." (pointing at my list). Is this a joke?" I swear she is a 16 yr old trapped in a 6 yr old body.Ended up taking all 3 (6,5 & 3 yr old) to the movies to see Madagascar 2. Febes (Phoebe) was actually very good this time - not once did she crawl around under other people's seats to scavenge for dropped chips, lollies and popcorn. She sat with me for the entire movie, and only announced LOUDLY to all "I THINK ITS TIME TO GO HOME NOW MUM" three times. And an added bonus today - Mac didn't throw up maltesers all over the back seat on the way home this time. Quite a positive Cinema experience for once.... Luke Skywalker was, as always, a perfect movie patron and car traveller.
BREAKING NEWS/BREAKING NEWS/BREAKING NEWS...
It has been confirmed that a 36 yr old, Toowoomba father of 3, ACTUALLY went to a doctor today. He allegedly didn't suffer adversely from the encounter, and even received quality medical attention, a script for anti-biotics and a diagnosis for his recent ill health - tonsillitis. Reports indicate he even told his wife it was just as well she made him go as the doctor said he was in fact EXTREMEMLY ILL.
It hasn't been verified as yet, but he may even see the doctor again sometime in 2009, should the need arise.
Happy New Year everyone. Damo,we too are staying in, and have also told the kids its "movie night!!!" They have been counting the sleeps. Its just some movies on Austar on the Disney channel that they have on DVD, but the fact its appearing on t.v. makes it oh-so-special.
