After being away for a week, realised it was Tuesday today and that means Drawing Class tonight...then, oops!!! Remembered, all too late it seems, that I had homework from the last class....and yes, I hadn't done it. So at 1:30 today I started my "homework" and tried desperately to complete the somewhat complex Cut Strip Tonal Exercise...which translates to get a b & w picture, cut it into 4 thin strips paste them onto the paper and using a pencil, contour lines, shading, mark making produce a work of art.... Uh-oh. Doesn't seem to be something I can knock up in 15 minutes.......
Homework alwasy spoils the fun, doesn't it ?
ReplyDeleteI am 100% certain that you can razzle dazzle your way thru the homework section of the evening...mayhap distract her with your Sister Janet Mead/Meatloaf/Fraggle Rock impressionation.
The tutor didn't even shake her head or say TSK TSK...she said I could keep going with that particular exercise, or.....draw a piece of fruit. Who could pass up drawing a PIECE OF FRUIT??!!!! Will feature it on tomorrow's blog - before I put it up on Ebay or Art.com for the highest bidder.....
