Live entertainment

Sick days home from prep or kindy are USUALLY such a drab, boring affair...especially on wet, foggy, miserable days when you can't even sneak outside to play when mum's holed up in the laundry and not looking....but TODAY - WOOHOO!!! A big truck with hydraulic lifts arrived to collect the giant Skip filled with our demolished garage bits and other assorted rubbish.....finally, something to entertain us!!!! How very sad when it drove away, and the live entertainment was over for the day. Back to Sick Day Rules....ho-hum.

  1. Maybe you can hire a mini-skip every 'sick' day ?

Are you currently applying the '2009 SDR' (Sick Day Rules)?

  3. Yes. No fun. On any level. If you are well enough to have fun, you are well enough to go to school.....

  4. Define fun. Surely it is relative. If you have been vomiting for 12 hours straight surely being able to drink lemonade and keep it down or sit up in a chair and watch tv could be considered fun.
