A lovely friend gave me the nicest card for my birthday this year...it read "Make new friends but keep the old. One is silver, the other gold." (thanks Judith)

On the weekend, one of my long-time friends came up for a visit from Beenleigh with her husband and little girl. Neicy and I have been friends since we were 5 years old, having both started Grade One at St.Flannan's together. 35 years later and that friendship truly is pure gold. Friendships that span lifetimes are such gifts.
Thanks for the visit Neice. Catching up with you is always a crack up. I love it. And I love you.
